<p>Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour. Requisites: Physics 1A, 1B, and 1C, or 6A, 6B, and 6C. Theory and application of atmospheric radiation, aerosol, and cloud processes. Topics include radiative transport, cloud and rain formation, aerosol properties, impact of aerosol and clouds on climate. Letter grading.</p>
