<p>Seminar, three hours. Enforced requisites: English Composition 3, English 4W (or 4HW). Recommended for lower-division students who desire familiarity with research methods in literary studies. Areas may include use of archives; locating, reading, and incorporating secondary criticism; critical and textual studies; history of books. Specific literatures vary with instructor. May not be repeated for credit. P/NP or letter grading.</p>
