<p>Lecture, three hours. Examination of relevance of public policies and their intended and unintended effects on housing demand and supply in developing countries. How definition of housing problems, and scope of solutions, has changed over time. Critical assessment of some key solutions that have been tried in past, their advantages, shortcomings, and resultant trade-offs, and likely directions for future housing policy. Letter grading.</p>
