<p>Lecture, three hours. Knowledge of Asian languages not required. Survey of regions and religions of Central Asia, especially Buddhism in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Topics include archaeological, art historical material, and linguistic approaches to history of religions. Letter grading.</p>
