<p>(Formerly numbered Chicana and Chicano Studies 216.) Seminar, three hours. Limited to graduate students. Based mostly on U.S., exploration of dynamic field of illegality studies. Study of history of immigration policies and enforcement practices along with key empirical and theoretical contributions to understand how immigrant illegality is produced. S/U or letter grading.</p>
