<p>Lecture, four hours; discussion, one hour; outside study, seven hours. Enforced requisites: Mathematics 33A, 33B. Enforced corequisite: course 109. Introduction to analysis of fluid flow in chemical, biological, materials, and molecular processes. Fundamentals of momentum transport, Newton law of viscosity, mass and momentum conservation in laminar flow, Navier/Stokes equations, and engineering analysis of flow systems. Letter grading.</p>
