<p>Seminar, three hours. Designed for juniors/seniors. Survey and analysis of function and appearance of such archetypal heroes as Achilles, Ulysses, Prometheus, Oedipus, and Orpheus in literature from antiquity to modern period. All works read in translation. P/NP or letter grading.</p>
