Complete introduction to robotics control systems that are critical and rapidly growing engineering technology with expanding societal impact. Designed to support entry-level students with primary principles of modern control systems. Students are provided with essential background in formal principles. Includes breakthrough technology providing hands-on experience with physical robotics control systems. Extensive use of graphical and animation methods to support understanding of mathematical concepts. Hands-on systems are provided in laboratory sections for each student for system design and characterization. Students connect personal computers to robotic control system and have real-time access for configuration and control. Convenient computing tools are provided to support each design method, as well as real-time visualization and performance characterization. Letter grading.</p>
