<p>Studio, one hour; outside study, five hours. Enforced requisite: course 66 (6 units). Limited to junior/senior music composition students. One-on-one composition lessons with assignments and compositions tailored to student progress and level of achievement. Lessons address counterpoint, voice-leading, harmonic and melodic construction, orchestration, form, texture, style, notation, and performance feasibility. May be repeated for credit. P/NP or letter grading.</p>
