<p>Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour. Preparation: one philosophy course. Examination, through study of recent philosophical writings, of such topics as nature of law, relationship of law and morals, legal reasoning, punishment, and obligation to obey law. May be repeated for credit. P/NP or letter grading.</p>
