<p>Lecture, three or four hours; discussion, one hour (when scheduled). Requisite: course 40. Designed for juniors/seniors. Evolution of English common law courts and their legal system, with emphasis on development of basic concepts of law which were received from that system in U.S. and remain relevant today. P/NP or letter grading.</p>
