Lecture, three and one half hours. Requisite: course 101. Weather map analysis, thermodynamic diagrams, satellite interpretation, severe weather forecasting, isentropic analysis, frontogenesis, quasi-geostrophic omega equation. Concurrently scheduled with course C227. P/NP or letter grading.
