Seminar, three hours. Requisite: course 120. Critical study of Dead Sea Scrolls, with attention to history of biblical interpretation and role of Dead Sea Scrolls in formative Judaism. Reading in original manuscripts from Dead Sea Scrolls. May be repeated for credit. S/U or letter grading.
