Individualized Education: Supplemental Extensive Support Needs—Strategies and Understandings

●	Demonstrate ability to address functional limitations of movement and or sensation with students with extensive support needs

●	Utilize health information to support a safe environment and implement specialized health care regulations

●	Use appropriate and safe techniques, procedure materials, educational and assistive technology, and other adaptive equipment for students with various extensive support needs. 

●	Demonstrate understanding of the structure and function of auditory and visual sensory systems and skills as pertains to appropriate assessment findings and program development for students.

●	Demonstrate knowledge of atypical development associated with various disabilities and rare conditions and their implications for learning.

●	Demonstrate knowledge of core challenges with the neurology of open or closed head injuries, and physical/medical access issues as they pertain to educational needs
