Physicality for Actors I

We will increase and specify our proprioceptive awareness in movement, especially with respect to our knowledge of our body in relation to itself in space, our ability to fall, and our ability to maintain a physical connection to a partner.

We will increase our capacity to ground our movement in the lower body, integrate (upper/lower, core/periphery, etc) our movement, and thereby generate a more powerful presence.

We will have gained familiarity with basic techniques of hombu-style aikido, with greatest attention given to the specific techniques that mark mastery at a 5th and 4th kyuu level. 

We will broaden our understanding of the fundamental relationship between etiquette and training.
