Skills for Actors I

We will increase our understanding of and comfort in rehearsal situations calling for
staged violence.

We will continue to increase our capacity to ground our movement in the lower body,
integrate (upper/lower, core/periphery, etc) our movement, and thereby generate a
more powerful presence.

We will continue to increase and specify our proprioceptive awareness in movement,
especially with respect to our knowledge of our body in relation to itself in space, our
ability to fall, and our ability to maintain a physical connection to a partner.

We will have gained familiarity with basic principles related to physically navigating a
variety of scenic environments.
