<p>Lecture, three hours. Requisites: courses 1A, 1B, 1C, 20A, 20B, 20C. Use of student field training experience to examine leadership and management in depth. Special emphasis on enhancing communication skills and why effective communication is essential to successful leadership. Students are given the opportunity to apply leadership and management techniques in a supervised environment as juniors and seniors while continuing development in advanced leadership skills, ethics, and professional military relationships in preparation for becoming officers and supervisors. P/NP or letter grading.</p>

Demonstrate leadership as a Leader of Character by integrating Airman Foundational Competencies, USSF Competencies, core values, ethics, professionalism, and organizational climate principles to lead people and accomplish the mission. 

Strengthen professional communication skills by producing and delivering effective DAF writing, performance statements, counseling feedback, and informative briefings in accordance with Tongue & Quill standards.

Apply advanced leadership and management principles by practicing officer-level decision-making, motivation, delegation, and team development in supervised training environments.
